Why do we want what we don’t have?
What is it about the unreachable that attracts us?
When does the desire for more stop?
We grow with the want,
The unreachable helps us work harder
The desire fuels our ambition.
Note: With this poem in the emotive poetry series, I have experimented with the Mondo poetry form to define the associated emotion.
