Xenophobia

Unusual, against the norm
Like a freeform
Wants acceptance
Gets susceptance

Stereotypes, misogyny,
Synonymy
Majority
Otherity

Of the alien, unaccepting
Intercepting
Detrimental
Judgemental

Note: With this poem in the emotive poetry series, I have experimented with the Minute poetry form to define the associated emotion. The word ‘otherity’ used in the poem is a self constructed verb derived from the noun ‘other’ meaning a person or group of people intrinsically different from and alien to oneself.

I’m participating in #BlogchatterA2Z and this post is the twenty-fourth one corresponding to the alphabet ‘X’. Know more about the challenge and my theme here. See you tomorrow with the next alphabet and a poem around another human emotion.
