Unusual, against the norm
Like a freeform
Wants acceptance
Gets susceptance
Stereotypes, misogyny,
Synonymy

Otherity
Of the alien, unaccepting
Intercepting
Detrimental
Judgemental
Note: With this poem in the emotive poetry series, I have experimented with the Minute poetry form to define the associated emotion. The word ‘otherity’ used in the poem is a self constructed verb derived from the noun ‘other’ meaning a person or group of people intrinsically different from and alien to oneself.
