Queasy

Taking the ride is exciting and scary
What if your stomach misbehaves
What if to the journey, it caves?
Taking the ride is exciting and scary

What if your stomach misbehaves?
Then you can’t enjoy the ride and the views,
That’s when settles in, the blues
What if your stomach misbehaves?

Then you can’t enjoy the ride and the views.
Maybe you should have avoided that last bite,
The mind grumbles, over the body’s plight.
Then you can’t enjoy the ride and the views

Maybe you should have avoided that last bite.
When taking on something new,
Most things turn out not what you knew.
Maybe you should have avoided that last bite.

Taking the ride is exciting and scary
What if your stomach misbehaves
What if to the journey, it caves?
Taking the first ride is exciting and scary

Note: With this poem in the emotive poetry series, I have experimented with the Catena Rondo form to define the associated emotion.
