Some are like that,
They give, without taking.
Some are like that,
They smile, without knowing you too.
Some are like that,
They ask out of concern, without any malice.
Some are like that,
They put others first, without thinking about themselves.
Some are like that,
They feel happy about others’ happiness and success, without envy.
Some are like that,
They help those in need, without anybody asking them to.
Some are like that,
They want to make the world a better place, without thinking, “What’s my benefit in that?”
Some are like that,
They choose kindness first every time, without even knowing its definition.
Note: With this poem in the emotive poetry series, I have experimented with the Anaphora form to define the associated emotion.
