A few days back, I had announced and invited all and sundry to register for a poetry workshop with an admired and respected poet, Sampurna Chhatarji.

The day finally came and went too. For others, it might just have been another day. But for me, and my fellow poetry lovers, it was a day to celebrate. Why? Because it was World Poetry Day. And for those poetry enthusiasts like myself, who got a chance to attend the workshop, it was just a cherry on top of a cake we love to devour, whenever we can.
From the way I’m gushing, you must’ve already guessed how good this session was. Yep, it was everything I was hoping for and more! For those of you who could not attend it, don’t be disheartened because I have some good news. I’m going to give you all a theoretical sneak peek into what went on in this poetry lover’s dream-come-true closed-door session.
A bunch of questions (which were asked by the enthusiastic participants) were thrown at our guest and she answered them to our heart’s delight. Not only did we get tips and recommendations about poetry, but we also got a chance to listen to her recite some of her own.
So, without further ado, here’s a look at the questions that Sampurna Chhatarji was asked, and her subsequent answers to them all.

Before you go, here’s a little sneak peek into the session where we can see Sampurna in her element listening to and then answering our questions.
