Poetry Workshop with Sampurna Chhatarji #BlogchatterWritFest

“Painting is poetry that is seen rather than felt, and poetry is painting that is felt rather than seen.”
― Leonardo da Vinci

My affinity for poetry is kind of an open secret. In fact, even most of my readers come back and tell me that though they like most of my writing and content, they love my poetry the most. That’s not surprising for me either because poetry writing is something I’ve been doing for the longest time now. In comparison to any of my other creative and fiction writing pursuits (microtales, short stories, novels, et al), poetry is the one I’ve written most extensively. Despite that, I feel that I could learn and imbibe a few things from the more experienced poets. More than that, I know for a fact that if had somebody to teach me how to go about it, it might not have taken me so long to hone my skills.

Seems the universe listened to this and I’m getting my wish fulfilled via season 6 of the #BlogchatterWritFest. On the coming Monday i.e. 21st March 2022, the Blogchatter team is doing something special for its community and anyone who might be interested. They have arranged for an exclusive session with Sampurna Chattarji on ‘Getting started with poetry’. Those well-versed with the literary field know that she is a name and face known and respected for her work with and around poetry.

What better time than now to get started on your poetry writing skills then!

The session is not open for all and if you wish to join, you can do so by registering for the limited seat, closed session zoom call with this popular and much-loved poet. How to do so? Simple, here’s the link. You only need to fill in some basic details and the team will get in touch with you to share further information.
