No, you can’t go out late at night, it’s not safe,
No, you can’t be friends with boys, it’s not good for your reputation,
No, you can’t study further, it’s of no use,
No, you can’t run a business, it’s something out of your capacity.
Every time women are told ‘no’ with some or the other reason attached
But women are no longer bound by these negations and notions.
Because yes, she can and will wear that dress, as it’s her body
Because yes, she can and will go out late at night, as she can protect herself
Because yes, she can and will be friends with boys, as her reputation is not dependent on that
Because yes, she can and will study, as it’s of use for her identity
Because yes, she can and will run a business, as it’s as much in her capacity as for anyone else.
