Blurb (as on Amazon):
The book holds different forms of poetry – Acrostic, couplets, quatrains, and free verses. They are written with utmost sentiments. While some are heartfelt and vestiges of my memories, others are a quest seeking reality and raising questions in life.
Genre: Fiction/Poetry
Pages: 60
Format: Kindle eBook/Paperback
My ratings: 4/5

A collection of 45 poems, this book is about life, love, experiences, and everything in between. The lines of the poetry within its pages manage to stir the unknown and sometimes know emotions in few words.
What I liked about the book:
-> The poems convey a story rather than just sticking to general themes of poetry.
-> Each poem contains a hidden meaning that can be interpreted differently by different readers.
-> It is a mixed bag of poems, taking the reader on a roller coaster of emotions. For instance, some of the poems send a message while others are musings on life and reality. Whereas some poems raise questions and few others embody emotions.
-> It is a short read that can be read in few hours.
-> The poet has managed to hit a mark with each poem, sending out a strong and in most cases, a much-needed massage.
-> Though I loved and enjoyed most poems in this collection, my favorite titles are Shadows, Introspection, Sleep With Shadows, Truth, and Fighter.
-> It was a surprisingly pleasant read that made me realize what a great example of a simple style of poetry done right this book is.
Quotable quotes:
-> The questions of life would flutter around,
As I slowly closed my sobbing eyes,
I felt no fear, no despair, no happiness,
It was as if my higher self was enticed..
-> Some roses bloomed and faded away,
The fragrance was left lingering in the breeze,
The humans remembered how it smelled and felt,
and how it pricked them when they were
clueless,
Is it about the pain it made them feel or the pleasure,
Which one should be remembered first
-> Finding your silhouette in my reflection,
Astounding you are, I see you faintly,
Realism is so clear; I feel your breath
-> You became known to me,
More through the eyes of the soul,
As you were my soulmate
->I rise as much as I fall,
I survive as much I am meant to die,
For I am a fighter
-> She knew she would be a tad bit better,
She knew she would again sleep with the sorrows
