Thank You, Self

Dear Me,

I’m writing this, because someday, in the near or far future, I know you will need it. There will be days when you feel demotivated.

You will doubt yourself. You will question everything about yourself.

This is why you need to be reminded to go on. Because, you haven’t come this far, to stop here. You need to be reminded that there is still a long way to go. There are so many things you have yet to experience, learn and achieve.

You need to be reminded that there is still a long way to go.

So, don’t belittle yourself because of whatsoever reason.

Did somebody badmouth you? C’mon. Haven’t you already faced the worst there? Ignore them.

Did you fail at a task you set out to do? That’s happened before too. So stop feeling sorry for yourself and finish that task, even if just a little late or lower than your expectations. Because knowing you, I’m sure you won’t move on to the next task until you have completed this one.

If it’s neither of those reasons, then surely it’s either something trivial or much bigger a hurdle than you’ve ever faced before.

But you know what? Just remember all those things you’ve surpassed already and you’ll be fine. Because resilience is something you’ve always had and always will have.

You weathered the storm well.

Oh, and also. Thanks for being by my side, through thick and thin, literally as well as figuratively (you know what I mean)

Always there with and for you,

Yourself.

Thank you for reading.
