My ratings: 4/5

This one is a cute love story with a lot of fun and life teaching moments. For those who love quick and light reads, this is a must read.

What I liked about the book:

—> Both the lead characters have similar passions and backgrounds.
—> Kyra (the female protagonist)ultimately manages to figure out and carve a way ahead for herself on her own. Brilliant character growth and development here.
—> The way the intimate and romance scenes have been narrated ( quite tingling!!)
—> The whole episode/chapter on Kyra and Irfan’s visit to the orphanage. This is my absolute favourite from the whole book.
—> Chintu’s background which gets revealed right at the end because till then I kept wondering about the huge age gap between him and Kyra.
—> Loved all the side characters, especially Raju Kaka and Shammi.

What I did not like about the book :
—> The absolutely predictable storyline, including the jealousy angles around Zafar and Simran.
—> I wish there was some space given to character growth of Meenaxi ( Kyra’s mom)

Quotable quotes:

—> When someone has lived alone for so many years, and somebody comes along and turns his life upside down, it’s a good omen.
—> You don’t need anyone to tell you how good you are. You don’t need anyone to give you a chance to prove yourself.
—> Somethings in life just cannot be explained. No one else will even understand it.
Even you may not understand it for a long time but one day you will and then you’ll know what to do.
